Our 4 star Istanbul hotel is located in the historic peninsula of Istanbul with views of two of the great masterpieces of world architecture; the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque... Situated at the heart of the Old City, the Armada Hotel offers a unique experience to its guests. It is within walking distance of many of the major attractions: the Archaeology Museum, the Topkapi Palace, the Church of St. Irene, Sultanahmet Square, the Cisterns, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art, the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar.

Modern comfort and convenience are discreetly incorporated into the interior and exterior design of our central Istanbul hotel, enhancing its historical atmosphere. Within the first month of 2009 we thoroughly renewed the hotel building that was put into service in 1994, so that the authentic feautures and advanced technologies were combined in line with our guests' demands.

The name of the Armada Hotel is a tribute to the memory of the renowned Ottoman Admiral Hayrettin Pasha Barbarossa. Period engravings throughout the hotel provide an insight into Istanbul’s by-gone eras.

You are welcomed to the Armada Hotel in Istanbul by the spacious "Fountain Café", whose marble fountain hosts a family of turtles basking in its trickling waters. The newly renewed Oriental Divan seating next to the "Guest Lounge" with old Radio Bar, is an inviting spot for a game of backgammon, a quiet read or just a comfortable place to relax and chat with friends. Standard rooms at our Istanbul Hotel are decorated in Ottoman simplicity, with decoratively painted wooden panels and authentic fabrics. "Superior" and "De-Luxe" rooms offers indulging details and magnificent views. The modern bathrooms provide organic amenities. The open buffet Turkish-style breakfast is enhanced by an array of homemade jams and pastries from the Armada's own kitchen, with organic fresh and dried fruits providing a flavorful way of welcoming the new day.

In addition to five meeting rooms the Armada Hotel’s delightful rooftop Terrace restaurant, provides a breathtaking close-up view of the Haghia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Sea of Marmara. The Armada Sera restaurant gives the same opportunity during winter. The restaurants within the Armada Hotel are popular with locals as well, but there are also three enjoyable alternatives nearby: “Sabahattin the Fisherman”, a seafood restaurant that has won seven international awards, is only a few minutes from Armada, just behind it, the “Giritli Restaurant” whose Mediterranean cuisine is among the “Top 10 of Istanbul”, and another interesting place at the Ahirkapı seaside; "Karışmasen Restaurant" serving traditional aegean, mediterranean mezes.
