Since the day it is opened, the multi-functional entrance hall of the Armada Hotel is named “Fountain Café”. This space has not only been an entrance hall but also has served different purposes by hosting many events such as balls, cocktails, coffee breaks for meetings and stylish wedding ceremonies.
The “fountain” of the “Fountain Café” refers to the marble pool with the fountain. This marble pool is also the home of our Turtle Family from Mississippi who catches the eye of every guest of every age. The “café” of the “Fountain Café” comes from the Turkish Coffee corner which is located on the left corner of the entrance hall, with walls that are furnished with İznik tiles. Here, traditional Turkish Coffee is made and served. It is also a “chillax” corner where any kind of coffee, tea and traditional Turkish drinks, savory pastries from historic Istanbul and Anatolia are served, along with various light snacks. The Ottoman Corner across the Turkish Coffee corner is the favorite area for our guests to give a break to get refreshed. The Reception of Armada is located on the right side of the Fountain Café. Either way, it keeps impressing people who make an entrance into the world of Armada Hotel.such as our ancient bags and suitcases that seem to belong to a voyage museum, an old İstanbul barber shop and the rare bird species inside a handmade, engraved wooden cage. Part of the Fountain Café is designed with the idea of an “atrium” and has domes made of glass. Through these domes, sun light can reach the plants and flowers inside the Fountain Café.
