Ahırkapı Restaurant
The Ahirkapi Restaurant hosts many local cultural events with its turn-of-
the-century Istanbul decor and cuisine. It is not a typical "hotel
resturant" but a real gathering point for the citizens of Istanbul
where the samples of the Istanbul cuisine are served and special events
such as the "Republic Ball" (on October 29th), "International
Dance Festival", "Valentine Day", "Ramadan Iftar"
(the evening meal during Ramadan) and "Istanbul Weddings" are
organized. Year round, “Milonga Night,” a celebration of the Turkish tango,
can be enjoyed here on Monday evenings. It is also one of the venues that
could be included in the meeting organizations for having luncheons and
dinners without having to go out, particularly during winter.
The Ahırkapı Restaurant can accommodate 280 guests for dinner or 350
guests for cocktail gatherings and is available for an array of private
social events as mentioned above..
